"Bruce crossed the floor on September 13th 2023, making the Conservative Party of British Columbia a recognized party in the legislature.”

About Bruce

Bruce is British Columbia born and raised. As a young man, he met and married Sharon, here. He and Sharon raised their family, here. He ran a successful chiropractor business, here. Bruce sat as a Councillor and Mayor of Abbotsford, and he was elected a Member of the Legislative Assembly in 2020 and re-elected in 2024.

Bruce is troubled that young people now launching careers who want to buy a home and start families say they cannot afford to stay in our Province. Other British Columbians no longer feel safe in their neighbourhoods, or fear the “Cowichan” decision could take their homes!

With unusual political courage, Bruce Banman crossed the floor on September 13th 2023, making the Conservative Party of British Columbia a recognized party in the legislature, kickstarting our Party’s growth in numbers and public support, and positioning our Party for victory. Bruce is conservative without apology!

Outside serving British Columbians, Bruce enjoys time spent with Sharon and their family, making new friends, and crooning numbers from the popular songbook.
